Hexcel is currently seeking a Production Operator / Process Associate for its Salt Lake City, UT, USA location. This position is pivotal in helping maintain the high standards that Hexcel upholds in quality and safety. The selected candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring production machinery that produces world-class composite materials used in aerospace and defense sectors. A key element of this role involves adhering to safety protocols, including consistent use of personal protective equipment, to ensure a safe working environment. The operator will perform essential manufacturing duties, document operating parameters, and ensure product quality complies with specified standards. The role also demands a proactive approach to detecting, reporting, and correcting any defective materials, directly impacting product reliability and customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements

  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Contributing to safety-first culture including consistent use of personal protective equipment
  • Performing manufacturing duties to create carbon fiber, resins, and pre-preg materials

  • Detecting, reporting, and correcting defective materials
