Hexcel is currently seeking multiple Production Operators for its Kent, WA location. This is an hourly, full-time role with a pay range from $20.00 to $28.59 per hour that offers immediate growth opportunities within the company. As a Production Operator, the successful candidate will be involved in key manufacturing activities such as lamination, finishing, trimming, and other production support tasks necessary to produce aerospace components. Operators will work with advanced industrial equipment including band-type saws, cutting tables, forklift trucks, and hand tools that require mechanical skills. The role demands both teamwork and independent work capabilities while maintaining a high level of detail and accuracy. It also involves reading and interpreting engineering blueprints, work orders, and instructions to ensure precision in production.

The ideal candidate will manage priorities efficiently in a fast-paced, multi-task environment while following strict safety policies. Additionally, employees will be expected to maintain a customer service-oriented mindset, respond promptly to requests, and proactively identify and solve issues. This position requires regular physical activity such as lifting weights up to 35 pounds and manual dexterity to operate the required equipment. Candidates must be prepared to work all shifts and meet the essential physical demands of the job. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • stable work history preferably in manufacturing
  • ability to work well with others in a team-oriented environment
  • basic math skills including fractions and percentages
  • ability to work with chemicals, sealants, paints, and cleaners regularly
  • basic computer skills
  • availability to work all shifts
  • must pass post-offer drug test and physical
  • able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 35 pounds occasionally
  • good vision including close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
