Our flagship product, OX-IS, is an all-in-one solution that meets critical building code requirements for structural sheathing, continuous insulation, and weather and air resistive barrier performance. Based in Jacksonville, Florida, OX Engineered is at the forefront of simplifying construction processes while ensuring compliance with the latest building codes and standards, including Miami Dade qualifications for roofing underlayment.
At OX Engineered, we pride ourselves on delivering products that enhance durability, energy efficiency, and safety for residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Our commitment to innovation and quality has positioned us as a trusted partner for builders, contractors, architects, and engineers who demand reliable and code-compliant building solutions. As a part of Amrize, a company dedicated to creating inclusive workspaces and fostering employee development, we offer a dynamic environment where every team member plays a crucial role in driving the company’s success and innovation.
We are currently seeking a Production Operator to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time position with a competitive pay rate of $19 per hour. The Production Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various types of machinery within our manufacturing facility, which operates without climate control. The role is essential in meeting production goals while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
The ideal candidate for the Production Operator role at OX Engineered should possess a strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail, with at least two years of experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Key responsibilities include routine equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and making minor repairs, alongside quality assurance checks to certify that products meet strict specifications. The operator will also be responsible for forklift operation to move materials, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, recording production data accurately, and adhering strictly to safety protocols, including the use of approved personal protective equipment and respirators when required.
Working at OX Engineered means engaging in a culture that prioritizes safety, teamwork, continuous improvement, and employee well-being. We encourage candidates who are adaptable to shift work, including potential overtime and weekend hours, to apply. We offer extensive benefits such as medical, dental, disability, life insurance, retirement savings plans including 401(k) with Roth options, employee stock purchase plans, paid time off, paid parental leave, educational assistance programs, and a supportive work environment that embraces diversity and inclusion.
As a member of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking products that improve building performance and sustainability. OX Engineered is not just a workplace but a place where your skills will shape the future of construction while advancing your career in a company that values innovation, safety, and inclusivity.
