Job Description

Encore is a global leader in event production, specializing in providing innovative and high-quality audiovisual and event technology solutions. The company collaborates with clients across various industries to deliver exceptional live experiences at venues ranging from hotels and convention centers to large-scale outdoor locations. With a focus on creativity and technical expertise, Encore supports the seamless execution of complex events including corporate meetings, conferences, trade shows, and entertainment productions. The company fosters a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and professional growth, offering employees opportunities to work with cutting-edge technology in dynamic environments worldwide.

The Production Manager role at Encore carries substantial responsibility for overseeing multi-venue, full production, or high-impact events from inception to completion. Reporting to the Associate Director of Project Management, the Production Manager collaborates closely with Project Managers, Production System Engineers, Technical Directors, Sales teams, and Producers to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and profitability standards. This role demands exceptional project management skills, technical knowledge, and leadership abilities to coordinate resources, monitor event progress, and resolve operational challenges promptly. The Production Manager plays a pivotal role in driving consistency in event production by enforcing technical and production standards and leveraging Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

A key aspect of this position includes strategic partnership with accounts holding Master Service Agreements and multi-year contracts, focusing on identifying growth opportunities to expand Encore’s business. The role requires regular travel, up to 75% of the time, to support national events and maintain client relationships. The successful candidate must be adept at budget management, client communication, and post-event reporting to optimize operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Encouraging service excellence and continuous innovation, the Production Manager will assist in integrating new technologies and services into event production to enhance attendee experiences and generate additional revenue.

Working in a hotel or convention center environment, the Production Manager will encounter varying conditions ranging from quiet to noisy and will regularly handle sophisticated audio-visual and electrical equipment. The position requires working irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and being on-call as needed. Encore values hospitality, operational excellence, and a strong client-focused approach, and the Production Manager is vital in embodying these values through every phase of the event lifecycle. The role offers a competitive salary range of $93,065 to $120,984 annually, with potential eligibility for overtime, bonuses, or incentives, reflecting the candidate's experience, skills, and location.
