The company delivers a fully integrated suite of premium services that elevate its partners by maintaining a white-label approach focused on excellence. With a vast network of 450 venues worldwide hosting over 20,000 events annually and entertaining approximately 165 million guests, Legends Global is a leader in event management and production. The company’s expertise spans numerous components of the live entertainment industry including feasibility studies and consulting, owner's representation, sales, partnerships, hospitality, merchandise, venue management, and content booking. The culture at Legends Global emphasizes respect, ambitious thinking, collaboration, and bold action, fostering an inclusive workplace that allows employees to be authentic, make meaningful impacts, and grow professionally. Teamwork and a commitment to winning together underscore the company’s philosophy and daily operations.
The Production Manager role is based in Tacoma, Washington, supporting events at Tacoma City Theaters including the Pantages Theater, Rialto Theater, and Theatre on the Square. This full-time salaried, exempt position reports directly to the Assistant General Manager and is central to the technical planning and execution of diverse performances and events. Key responsibilities include management of lighting, audio, video, rigging, staging, labor, and back of house operations with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. The Production Manager coordinates logistics, liaises with internal teams and external clients including touring productions, Resident Arts Organizations, and rental clients, and ensures compliance with all safety regulations including ADA, NFPA, and OSHA standards.
This role requires strong technical knowledge of rigging, audio-visual systems, stage mechanics, and production technologies. The Production Manager supervises a team consisting of the Production Coordinator and IATSE stage technicians and manages labor calls for union and contracted crews. Budget oversight, vendor relations, event estimating, and payroll submissions for stage employees are essential tasks. The position also involves preventative maintenance and planning for capital improvements on equipment and systems. Effective communication, sound judgment, problem-solving abilities, and a strong customer service orientation are vital for success in this role.
Legends Global offers a competitive base salary of $80,170 along with a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and a 401k plan. The working environment is on-site in Tacoma with exposure to typical event noise levels and requires flexibility to work extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays. Physical demands include routine lifting up to 50 pounds, extensive standing, walking, reaching, and potentially repetitive hand-eye coordination tasks. The company is committed to equal employment opportunities and encourages applications from underrepresented groups including women, minorities, individuals with disabilities, and protected veterans. This opportunity represents a chance to join a dynamic, highly respected company and make a significant impact within live event production and venue management.
