Trane Technologies invites dynamic and motivated individuals to join their team as a Production Supervisor Warehouse, Shipping and Receiving for the 2nd shift at their Clarksville, Tennessee facility. This on-site role, operating five days a week, plays a crucial part in overseeing the daily functions of a busy, lean manufacturing environment that values quality, safety, and efficiency. With an annual base salary range between $60,000 and $126,200, this salaried position offers a competitive compensation package tailored to experience and skill level, alongside a comprehensive benefits program.

As a Production Supervisor, you will be the frontline leader ensuring that shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations flow seamlessly. Your role is to monitor performance metrics focusing on cost control, output, time management, and quality assurance. Collaboration across departments—including operations, quality control, human resources, finance, materials management, engineering, and continuous improvement—is essential. You will play an integral role in communicating goals and plant-wide initiatives, supporting plant programs, identifying process improvements, and fostering a productive, positive work environment through employee training and development.

Job Duties

  • Ensure overall performance of the production or plant team focusing on safety, quality, cost, time, and output
  • Supervise materials usage to ensure a smooth production/material flow
  • Support ongoing plant programs and goals by identifying opportunities for process improvements
  • Collaborate with other department supervisors/leaders in operations, quality, HR, finance, materials, engineering, and continuous improvement
  • Regularly communicate goals and plant-wide initiatives with the leadership team and all members
  • Engage in training, development, and fostering positive employee relations
