Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of 3 years' experience supervising kitchen or food production staff
- strong leadership and organizational skills
- ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
- reliable and punctual
- ability to work full time on-site
- willingness to follow company policies and procedures
- excellent interpersonal skills
- ability to handle stressful situations calmly
Job Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in kitchen or food production supervision
- demonstrated leadership and team management skills
- knowledge of HACCP food safety standards
- ability to operate and maintain kitchen equipment
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- capability to train and mentor employees
- familiarity with inventory and purchasing processes
- basic computer literacy for record keeping and reporting
Job Duties
- Train employees
- plan, assign and direct work
- appraise performance
- reward and discipline associates
- address complaints and resolve problems
- advise management of purchasing requirements with a focus on minimizing waste and avoiding product shortages
- use approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and standard portion control
- operate and clean equipment according to department procedures
- store, label and date food items according to policy
- maintain established food rotations to minimize spoilage and waste
- follow HACCP guidelines to ensure food safety
- operate food-service equipment safely
- help serve meals
- remain present during scheduled meal periods to receive customer feedback
- perform other duties as assigned
