- Minimum of two years experience leading a team in a production environment
- High school graduate
- Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook
- Bakery experience required
- Additional technical training or college credits a plus
- Must speak English
- Spanish language skills a bonus

Job Duties
- Responsible for directing, coordinating department activities on the shift to guarantee the production of quality products in a clean, safe manner within established operating standards and planned schedules
- Ensures set up of equipment to ensure proper start-up and continuous operation
- Monitors products during production cycle for proper slicing, packaging and coding to established standards
- Works with engineering department with equipment adjustments as necessary to maintain product quality and on-time production schedule
- Confirms adequate supply of packaging supplies for a smooth and efficient production run
- Trains employees to perform to standard on each job within the department, including safety, quality, cost and service
- Explains and fairly enforces company policy and procedures to employees
- Responds to problems and seeks resolutions in a timely manner
- Responsible for seeking understanding of communications by clearly expressing facts and asking follow-up questions
