The Production Coordinator role at AEG is a dynamic and pivotal position within the event production ecosystem. This role involves supporting the planning and execution of touring production operations by managing logistics, travel, staffing, payroll, and a spectrum of administrative functions that ensure seamless live event and tour experiences. The Production Coordinator acts as a vital link between production teams, artists, vendors, and venue personnel, coordinating efforts both in-office and on the road. This multifaceted position demands strong organizational abilities, excellent communication skills, and flexibility to handle the fast-paced nature of live entertainment logistics. The ideal candidate will be adept at coordinating complex travel arrangements, managing staffing schedules, advancing show and venue operations, maintaining meticulous production documentation, and providing on-site support during tours and events. This role requires up to 50 percent travel, readiness to work varied schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays, and a calm, team-oriented attitude. Job Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in business event production entertainment management or related field preferred
  • 1-2 years experience in live event production touring venue operations or entertainment logistics
  • Strong verbal written and listening communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
  • Availability to work nights weekends and holidays
  • Calm demeanor good attitude and team orientation

Job Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree (4-year) business event production entertainment management or a related field preferred
  • 1-2 years experience in live event production touring venue operations or entertainment logistics
  • Excellent intrapersonal skills such as strong verbal written and listening communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook) and ability to learn required business systems
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload strong time management skills
  • Ability to work a varied schedule including nights weekends and holidays
  • Must have a calm demeanor good attitude and must be team orientated

Job Duties

  • Coordinate tour logistics including travel accommodations ground transportation and venue-related arrangements for artists crew and internal teams
  • Support production staffing efforts by coordinating the hiring onboarding scheduling and payroll administration of runners and temporary event personnel
  • Assist with advancing show and venue operations including hospitality catering backstage requirements local staffing and day-of-show logistics
  • Maintain production documentation budgets calendars reports and operational tracking tools to ensure accurate communication and project visibility
  • Serve as a liaison between production teams venues vendors and internal departments to facilitate seamless execution of touring and event operations
  • Provide on-site production support during tours and events assisting with problem resolution and ensuring operational needs are met throughout the production lifecycle
  • Travel up to 50 percent
