Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in food preparation or cooking is beneficial
- knowledge of safe food handling practices and health regulations
- ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- excellent communication and teamwork skills
- willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to follow instructions precisely and maintain cleanliness and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- Previous cooking experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks
- strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook KFC's menu items including the world-famous chicken following standardized recipes and quality standards
- maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and sanitized
- collaborate with team members to manage products needed to fulfill guest orders contributing to a positive and efficient kitchen atmosphere
- ensure all food items meet proper temperature and quality standards
- maintain efficient workflow and minimize food waste through portion control
- monitor and report equipment malfunctions to ensure seamless kitchen operations through KFC standards
