Job Requirements

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds

  • Ability to work in cold and hot temperature environments

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 6-12 months retail or food service experience desired
  • Good understanding of food production and basic cooking techniques
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to follow detailed recipes and procedures
  • Basic math skills
  • Passion for natural foods and company mission
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, urgent environments
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

Job Duties

  • Prepares food items for cold case, fresh pack, salad, and hot bars according to production sheets
  • Prepares food items according to recipes ensuring quality and consistency
  • Labels, dates, covers, monitors, and rotates prepared food items
  • Monitors food levels and replenishes items timely
  • Provides excellent customer service and addresses customer needs promptly
  • Follows health, sanitation, and safety procedures including Weights and Measures compliance
  • Maintains clean and sanitary work environments and equipment
  • Performs opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned
  • Reports safety hazards and violations immediately
  • Maximizes sales through proper food preparation and merchandising
