Bowery is currently hiring bakers to join their dedicated line responsible for the production of sandwich breads, rolls, and buns. This role offers an excellent opportunity for bakers with at least one year of experience working with yeasted doughs in a commercial bakery setting to elevate their careers. Available shifts are early in the morning, either from 4am to noon or 6am to 2pm, catering to operational needs and allowing flexibility for team members.
As a baker at Bowery, you will be involved in the full production cycle including scaling, mixing, shaping, and baking bread products according to detailed formulas and processes. You will maintain various fermentations such as sourdough starters, poolishes, and levains, ensuring they are healthy and well-managed. The role requires strict adherence to quality standards to keep the bakery’s products consistent and excellent.
