Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • capability to lift and handle heavy bags of ingredients up to 50 pounds
  • experience working with heated ovens and baking appliances
  • ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment
  • commitment to maintaining cleanliness and following food safety guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous baking experience preferred
  • knowledge of baking techniques and food safety practices
  • ability to operate baking ovens and equipment
  • ability to follow recipes and precise baking instructions
  • strong attention to detail
  • teamwork and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Make and bake a variety of donuts, breads, pastries, pies, cookies, and cakes
  • operate ovens and baking machinery and ensure accurate temperatures and proper baking
  • monitor ingredient inventory, reorder supplies as needed, and organize ingredient storage
  • maintain cleanliness of baking tools, workstations, and utensils to ensure food safety
  • inspect finished baked products to meet quality standards of appearance, texture, and taste
  • adjust production levels according to daily par sheets and demand
  • comply with health department and company food safety guidelines
