Job Requirements

  • ability to stand for long periods
  • ability to lift and handle heavy bags of baking ingredients up to 50 pounds
  • proficiency in operating heated ovens and baking equipment
  • adaptability to a fast-paced work environment
  • basic food safety knowledge

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior baking or production experience preferred
  • knowledge of baking techniques and machinery operation
  • ability to follow detailed recipes and production guidelines
  • strong attention to cleanliness and food safety
  • good physical stamina and endurance
  • ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment

Job Duties

  • Make and bake a variety of donuts, breads, pastries, pies, cookies, cakes, and other baked goods
  • operate ovens and baking machinery ensuring correct temperatures and cooking times
  • complete daily par sheet and adjust production levels according to demand
  • monitor ingredient inventory and procure supplies as needed
  • maintain cleanliness and sanitation of baking tools, workstations, and utensils following health and safety standards
  • conduct quality checks on baked goods for taste, appearance, and texture
  • comply with food safety guidelines and health department regulations
