Job Description

Cormetech is a global leader dedicated to advancing clean air through its innovative technologies that target air pollutants and carbon dioxide, significant contributors to climate change. With over three decades of expertise, Cormetech specializes in the design, manufacture, and full lifecycle management of selective catalytic reduction (SCR) catalysts and CO2 adsorbers. These advanced products serve as the foundation for emissions control and CO2 capture systems used worldwide. The company’s commitment to environmental sustainability and the fight against climate change solidifies its reputation as a forward-thinking organization where employees are empowered to make meaningful impacts on the planet’s future. As part of its mission, Cormetech fosters a work environment that values safety, innovation, and quality in producing technologies to reduce harmful emissions and promote cleaner air.

This position is for an advanced Production Associate role within Cormetech. It goes beyond basic assembly and operational duties by requiring independent process adjustments and technical decision-making skills. Associates in this role will be responsible for assembling materials and operating equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to strict specifications. The work involves handling both solid and liquid raw materials, participating in batch mixing operations, and making analytical adjustments to batches based on testing and historical data. Key responsibilities include operating specialized equipment such as moisture balances and plasticity testers, troubleshooting process deviations by following standard operating sheets, and verifying that all materials and finished products meet quality standards before usage or release.

Additionally, the role involves preparing chemical mixes for activation processes, cutting honeycomb catalysts to specifications, and assembling arrays by cementing catalysts into modules. The role demands precision, care, and attention to detail as associates handle raw materials and finished products to avoid damage. This position also requires collaboration with engineers and technicians for process improvements and timely communication of product or process issues to supervisors and managers. Safe operation of forklifts and overhead cranes is mandatory, reflecting the physically engaging nature of the job.

The work schedule offers multiple shift options, including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts with overtime possibilities. After completing initial training, employees transition to a 12-hour 2-2-3 shift schedule, which allows for extended time off and more scheduled days away from work. Cormetech emphasizes a well-structured work environment supporting both individual initiative and teamwork, within a dynamic industrial setting that experiences varying temperatures and conditions. This role is ideal for motivated individuals seeking to join a company dedicated to innovative environmental technologies while developing their skills in production and process management.
