The Production Associate role at Bimbo Bakeries USA is an entry-level position within the bakery production team. This role is integral to the manufacturing process, ensuring that the highest quality baked goods are produced safely and consistently to meet the company and customer standards. Production Associates operate and manage high-powered machinery, package products, mix ingredients, and handle the movement and stacking of materials and equipment used in producing fresh baked goods. They play a critical role in examining product quality, rejecting items that fail to meet specifications, and actively working to reduce waste through diligent observation and maintenance. To support the company's commitment to food safety and superior quality, Production Associates participate in and complete all required training, audits, and adhere strictly to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). The position offers a competitive starting pay of $23.55 per hour, with shifts varying to meet production demands, making it suitable for candidates seeking flexible work schedules. Job Requirements

  • at least 18 years of age
  • 1-3 years of prior manufacturing experience
  • must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stack, and carry pans, ingredient containers, etc
  • ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • comfortable in a warm working environment
  • ability to communicate effectively in English
  • ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • at least 18 years of age
  • 1-3 years of prior manufacturing experience
  • food manufacturing experience is a plus
  • ability to communicate effectively in English

Job Duties

  • safely operate high-powered machinery
  • package products
  • mix ingredients

  • observe, maintain, and address issues to prevent and reduce waste
