The role involves hands-on operation of high-powered machinery, packaging finished products, mixing ingredients, and handling materials such as ingredient containers and bakery pans. Attention to quality control, by examining and rejecting products that do not meet specifications, is a key aspect of the job. Associates are expected to actively participate in required company training and audits to maintain compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, food safety protocols, and superior quality standards.

This position requires physical stamina, including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in a warm environment typical of food production facilities. The shift for this role is from 4:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Saturday, offering a consistent schedule with great starting pay of $22.65 per hour. Eligible associates gain access to a robust benefits package subject to agreement terms, including retirement plans, medical and dental coverage, paid holidays, and paid time off. The company encourages candidates who are at least 18 years of age with 1 to 3 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in food production, and who have effective English communication skills. Bimbo Bakeries USA is an equal opportunity employer, committed to providing fair employment irrespective of race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, or disability, and meets all legal requirements including accommodation of qualified individuals with disabilities.

Joining Bimbo Bakeries USA as a Production Associate means becoming part of a brand with a rich history, trusted by millions of consumers daily, and a company dedicated to operational excellence and employee development.
