Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to read and speak the English language
- Ability to pass Health Department sanitation training
- Ability to handle money efficiently and perform routine mathematical calculations
- Ability to support Food Service Department with regular attendance
- Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Ability to maintain good personal appearance and cleanliness in work habits
- Knowledge of school lunch pattern and nutritional value of foods served
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Perform cashier duties on serving line at manager's request
- Understand school lunch pattern and nutritional value of foods served
- Prepare cash deposit and meal account records
- Collect money from food sales
- Operate computer terminal and calculator
- Prepare and serve food according to established procedures and methods in timely manner
- Utilize standardized recipes and procedures
- Maintain equipment to ensure machines work properly
- Apply safety and sanitation rules for food handling and accident prevention
- Perform other duties as assigned
