This full-time Production Assistant role is based on-site in Bristol, CT, and is ideal for individuals who thrive in hands-on, detail-oriented manufacturing settings. The position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with no nights or weekend shifts required, promoting a healthy work-life balance. The role is truly immersive in manufacturing, with approximately 90% of duties dedicated to producing high-quality health and wellness products such as skincare, supplements, and pet care items. Responsibilities include mixing ingredients, operating semi-automated filling equipment, and packaging finished goods. This position also supports inventory management, product development, and facility upkeep, giving a well-rounded manufacturing experience. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- one year of relevant experience in manufacturing or production preferred
- availability to work full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- ability to perform physically demanding work including frequent lifting up to 50 pounds
- basic computer proficiency
- willingness to learn equipment operation

Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- one year of relevant manufacturing or production experience preferred
- ability to follow detailed manufacturing instructions and safety protocols
- basic computer skills for inventory tracking and record-keeping
- ability to operate or willingness to learn semi-automated filling equipment
- physical stamina to lift 45-50 pounds frequently
- manual dexterity and good visual acuity

Job Duties
- review production reports and ingredient lists to prepare for manufacturing tasks
- mix and create product formulations according to established recipes across multiple product categories
- perform hands-on production including weighing and measuring ingredients
- operate equipment including piston filler and cap tightener
- handle bottling, capping, and labeling of products
- prepare production area, gather necessary materials, and clean equipment and production areas between batches
- box and package finished products for shipping to warehouses
- assist with heavy lifting during production
- track raw materials used in production by updating inventory spreadsheets
- participate in monthly inventory counts
- help organize storage areas for raw materials and packaging
- assist with basic bookkeeping related to production
- check in shipments and verify contents
- support product development by assisting with test batches and evaluating samples
- process product returns and assist with sustainability audit documentation
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the production facility
- perform other administrative and support tasks as assigned
