The company emphasizes a culture that builds people along with products through its RiSE talent development framework, which focuses on reaching, identifying, strengthening, and engaging employees to support their ongoing professional growth and success. SPX Technologies values integrity, accountability, excellence, teamwork, and results, which guide employees in making ethical decisions and driving continuous improvement.
Within SPX Technologies, TAMCO serves as a leading, innovative manufacturer specializing in high-end, superior quality dampers and air control products that cater to commercial, industrial, and institutional markets. TAMCO’s products are renowned for durability, energy efficiency, and exceptional performance, providing critical cooling solutions and comfort to a range of customers. The General Labor role at SPX Technologies offers candidates the opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, dynamic workforce that values collaboration, innovation, and skill development. As a General Laborer, you will assist in various aspects of the manufacturing process, including supporting the paint line, unloading and breaking down parts from laser-cut sheets, assembly, and other departments under the guidance of a supervisor. This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn diverse tasks to ensure smooth operation of production processes.
This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in environments that demand attention to safety, quality, and productivity. You will engage in critical tasks such as maintaining clean and orderly work areas, operating tools and machines efficiently, and adhering strictly to safety protocols. Ensuring parts and materials meet specified criteria and documenting work accurately are important components of this position. The role requires flexibility since you may be called upon to support various teams and functions beyond routine duties, fostering a strong team-oriented culture.
SPX Technologies values its employees and invests in their well-being and career development. In addition to competitive, performance-based compensation, the company offers comprehensive health insurance plans, a 401(k) match starting from day one, and generous paid time off including personal, parental, caregiver, and volunteer leave. Employees benefit from leadership development programs, educational assistance, and recognition initiatives that promote long-term growth and engagement.
Working at SPX Technologies means joining a workplace that respects diversity, encourages open communication, and embraces an inclusive culture where every employee’s voice is valued. The company is an affirmative action and equal opportunity employer committed to fair hiring practices and fostering an environment where all individuals can realize their fullest potential.
