Job Description

Fannie Mae, officially known as the Federal National Mortgage Association, is a vital institution within the U.S. economy, playing a foundational role in housing finance. Established with the mission to expand affordable homeownership and rental housing opportunities across the nation, Fannie Mae provides liquidity, stability, and affordability to the mortgage market. Leveraging innovation and a deep connection to housing finance, the company supports millions of American families in securing places they can truly call home. Known for its commitment to social impact and advancement of housing access, Fannie Mae continually invests in advanced technologies and collaborative initiatives to drive purpose-driven innovation. This promotes equity in housing opportunities and ensures that housing remains an essential part of the American dream for diverse communities nationwide.

The role of Manager for Fannie Mae’s Single Family Integrated Loan Solutions team is a senior leadership position within this highly respected organization. Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will be charged with managing the product delivery and operational aspects of the Collateral Products portfolio. This position is fully embedded within a complex and high-value domain where housing finance decisions have significant real-world impact. The manager is responsible for orchestrating end-to-end delivery, ensuring products are released efficiently and effectively, and that production systems operate with high reliability. The position requires a strategic mindset as well as strong operational governance skills to navigate and coordinate dependencies, risks, and compliance requirements inherent to a regulated financial environment.

In addition to overseeing release readiness, production support, and operational reviews, you will be expected to drive innovation by championing AI-enabled methodologies across product and delivery teams. This includes supporting AI prototyping, spec-driven development, and automation initiatives that reduce friction and improve delivery predictability. You will champion data-driven approaches to monitoring delivery metrics and portfolio health while aligning cross-functional teams around shared goals and streamlined processes. Leadership responsibilities include mentoring and developing teams such as Product Operations, Scrum Masters, and Delivery Leads, embedding a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement. You will also take a hands-on role in establishing best practices for AI adoption that enhance team effectiveness and lead change that accelerates product development cycles.

With a competitive salary range of $155,000 to $209,000, this position also offers eligibility for Fannie Mae’s incentive program and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support employees’ physical, mental, emotional, and financial well-being. The role is hybrid, requiring regular onsite presence while providing some flexibility. Joining Fannie Mae is an opportunity to build a meaningful career, contribute to one of the country’s most impactful housing finance organizations, and help millions of Americans achieve stable housing through innovative product delivery and operational excellence. If you are a product-minded, structured leader with a passion for driving business impact and innovation, this role is an ideal fit to leverage your talents and make a lasting contribution to housing finance.
