Product Demonstration Event Manager

We are currently looking for an experienced and dynamic Event Manager to join our team full-time at our Hawthorne location. This role is pivotal in the recruitment, training, and supervision of in-store Product Demonstrators, ensuring that CDS continues to deliver outstanding service to its valued Club members. As Event Manager, you will lead product presentations and play a crucial role in training staff on preparation techniques and customer service best practices. Your ability to facilitate communication among warehouse managers, vendors, and demonstrators will ensure seamless event execution, particularly during exciting grand openings and special events. The position offers a consistent work schedule from Tuesday to Saturday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance. In this role, your leadership skills will be essential as you recruit, train, and supervise part-time demonstration staff. You will oversee product preparation and ensure compliance with food safety standards while coaching Product Demonstrators to deliver engaging and informative presentations that meet our high standards. Your detail-oriented approach and ability to make sound decisions independently will be vital. We seek someone with 2 to 4 years of experience in retail, hospitality, or food service, along with proven leadership abilities and excellent communication skills.
