The Producer position at Encore plays a crucial role in ensuring the success of production events by overseeing the complete planning, management, and execution phases. Reporting to the Associate Director of Event Production, the Producer implements standardized processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs) that guarantee consistent, high-quality event execution. This role requires a talent for problem-solving, resource optimization, and operational troubleshooting, with a strong focus on maintaining client satisfaction and meeting project objectives within budget and timeline. As the primary liaison for clients post-sales handoff, the Producer provides exceptional customer service and cultivates lasting client relationships.

The Producer leads cross-disciplinary teams to deliver complex shows, balancing a global perspective of accounts to ensure continuity and sustained client success. They are responsible for managing project budgets, mitigating financial risks, and ensuring that all events meet target contribution margins while delivering exceptional results. The position demands proficient use of project management software, intimate knowledge of Encore’s equipment and services, and close collaboration with creative and sales teams to produce innovative experiential solutions. Working conditions often include hotel and convention environments with potential exposure to outdoor elements, requiring flexibility for irregular hours and travel commitments up to 75%.

Job Duties

  • Execute all event production functions necessary to deliver events at the highest levels of production efficiencies within budget, scope, and timeline
  • Responsible for the creation, analysis, and execution of project budgets and plans, partnering with appropriate discipline leads to mitigate risks and sub-rental spend
  • Responsible for ensuring all work is delivered within target contribution margins
  • Properly reconcile events, delivering a wrap report and ensuring all administrative data and paperwork is entered, submitted, cross checked, and reconciled
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients at all organizational levels and provide outstanding customer service with a focus on client retention
  • Ensure compliance with established standard operating procedures, technical standards, and production standards
  • Support, sponsor, and execute all company initiatives
  • Communicate goals and objectives clearly and frequently to event execution team members
  • Manage events that qualify for production services
  • Lead a team by assigning responsibilities, setting expectations, and executing the event
  • Maintain a global perspective of accounts to ensure ongoing client satisfaction and continuity
  • Serve as a strategic partner for customers from concept to execution
  • Complete post-show event reports to communicate account intelligence
  • Partner with the creative team to deliver innovative and experiential solutions
  • Organize client meetings, create and maintain detailed show documentation, and respond to client concerns promptly
  • Utilize project management software for event planning
  • Plan resources and logistics effectively across assigned production work
  • Maintain familiarity with all new and existing Encore equipment and services
  • Collaborate with market sales teams by providing scoping and pricing for production projects
