The Producer role at TAIT is a pivotal leadership position that navigates the intersection of creativity, project management, client relationships, and team leadership. As a creative leader and project manager, the Producer oversees all aspects of a project, from conceptualization through to delivery, ensuring the realization of the creative intent while managing intellectual property usage, quality standards, and feasibility of design. The Producer plays a critical role in production, fabrication, procurement, and installation processes, guaranteeing seamless coordination across multiple disciplines and upholding financial accountability for project profitability.

The Producer is not only a hands-on project manager capable of independently managing large projects with complex scopes, tight budgets, and strict timelines but also a respected mentor who leads creative and technical teams. Reporting to Senior Producers or Executive Producers, they provide guidance to Design Managers and Production Coordinators, encouraging professional growth and ensuring efficient project execution. The role demands a resilient communicator skilled in client negotiation, capable of handling challenging conversations while maintaining positive relationships and protecting the company’s creative and financial interests.

In this position, the Producer acts as a trusted advisor to clients, comprehensively understanding their business goals and creative ambitions to align project efforts accordingly. They are responsible for clearly defining roles and responsibilities within project teams, managing coordination between internal stakeholders, subcontractors, clients, and others to mitigate gaps or overlaps. The Producer regularly updates senior management on project status and escalates issues proactively with strategic solutions. Managing relationships with IP holders and ensuring compliance with all intellectual property requirements further underscores the importance of this role.

This role demands exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude geared toward collaboration and problem-solving. Producers must possess strong project process knowledge, budgets management, vendor negotiation, and experience in managing location-based entertainment technologies such as animatronics, audio, video, and show control.

The ideal candidate will bring a portfolio showcasing well-developed design and production management expertise, knowledge of industry-standard project management tools and software, and the ability to handle the pressures of high-profile project delivery with professionalism and calm demeanor.
