Job Requirements

  • must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • standing and walking for 6 to 8 hours in an 8-hour workday

  • exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
  • exposure to temperatures up to 90 degrees fahrenheit

Job Duties

  • ensure fresh and appealing display by keeping cases and shelves clean and well stocked by front-facing, check codes, rotate and remove out-of-date products
  • assist team leader in organizing and displaying volume and seasonal items
  • monitor and prevent spoilage and communicate waste to buyers, team leaders, and shift supervisor
  • complete spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required
  • assist with periodic inventory checks
  • arrive to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work
  • provide excellent customer service, address needs of customers timely and effectively and model suggestive selling techniques
  • maximize sales potential through effective and proper procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product
  • follow and ensure compliance with established procedures including weights and measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices
  • maintain a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment and maintain equipment according to cleanliness and safety standards
  • perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned
  • ensure accuracy of signs and pricing
  • immediately report safety hazards and violations
  • perform other duties as assigned by store, regional, or national leadership
