Job Description

The hiring company is a logistics and delivery service provider specializing in route-based product transportation. Their operational model is built around delivering goods from a centralized cross-dock facility to customers in various marketplaces, emphasizing punctuality and route optimization. The company prides itself on providing professional opportunities for drivers who will serve as the face of the company when interfacing with customers, aiming to uphold the company’s reputation and quality service standards.

This full-time delivery driver position focuses on daily routes that include frequent stops where the driver is responsible for loading and unloading packages. The driver will work away from the company’s main operating base, stationed at a location closer to the customer marketplace, enhancing efficiency for the delivery process. The role requires handling a cross-dock model involving picking up preloaded trucks from a nightly delivery at the assigned loading dock and completing deliveries in the designated route order. Drivers are also expected to return trucks to the assigned lot at the end of their routes. Additional duties often include assisting with loading trucks, palletizing product, and following all safety and operational protocols laid out by management. Drivers play a critical role in ensuring products are delivered accurately and on time, maintaining customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
