Job Description

Festival Foods is a well-established Wisconsin-based grocery store chain with over 40 full-service supermarkets across the state. The company is deeply committed to giving back to the communities it serves while providing guests with exceptional service and great value. Known for putting people first, Festival Foods emphasizes respect, integrity, and teamwork in all of its daily interactions, both with customers and employees. These core values are reflected in their comprehensive associate benefits and continuous development programs, which aim to foster a rewarding and supportive workplace environment.

As a part-time Produce Clerk at Festival Foods in De Pere, Wisconsin, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and presentation of fresh produce. This role requires early morning availability starting at 6 a.m., and will include working 28 hours per week or less. The position involves engaging directly with customers to assist with their produce needs, ensuring the inventory is fresh and well-stocked, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety. Your contributions will directly impact the guest shopping experience, encouraging repeat visits through exceptional service and quality offerings.

The Produce Clerk is responsible for product rotation to maintain freshness, proper stocking and display of products, and timely ordering of supplemental items like dips, herbs, and spices as needed. You will also keep the produce cooler and sales floor clean, organized, and safe at all times. Collaboration with the department team is essential to support efficient store operations. The role demands physical stamina, including occasional lifting of items up to 50 pounds and the ability to work at a fast pace in sometimes extreme temperatures. Safety awareness and adherence to company policies regarding equipment and store safety are paramount.

Festival Foods offers a competitive and supportive working environment that includes key benefits such as a 15% associate discount on groceries, weekly pay schedules, premium pay on Sundays and select holidays, and advanced two-week scheduling for better work-life balance. Additionally, part-time associates are eligible for vision and dental insurance options, as well as access to wellness programs, paid parental leave, and retirement savings plans with company match. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about providing exceptional customer service, enthusiastic about fresh foods, and eager to contribute positively to their local community through their work at Festival Foods.
