As a Pro Sales Associate at Behr, you will be positioned within a Home Depot store as a sales specialist dedicated to serving professional painting contractors and addressing their specific needs. This full-time role offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $20.70 to $32.45 USD, depending on experience, education, location, and skill set, with opportunities for additional bonus compensation. The core of your responsibilities involves building and maintaining strong relationships with local professional contractors who rely on Behr products. You will work both independently and closely with the Pro Desk team to provide personalized service and expertise. Your duties will include greeting pros entering the store, understanding their business and project requirements, and providing tailored product recommendations. You will manage paint mixing and preparation, ensure customers have all necessary sundry items, and facilitate quick transactions that respect the busy schedules of professional contractors. This role requires an outgoing and approachable personality, excellent organizational skills, and basic computer proficiency to utilize customer management software, specifically Salesforce. While previous experience in sales or paint knowledge is not required, a willingness to learn and the ability to work collaboratively with both Behr outside sales representatives and Home Depot staff are essential.
