As a Pro Sales Associate at Behr Paint Company, you will be based in a Home Depot store environment, working primarily with professional painting contractors. This role is a crucial link between Behr Paint's products and the professional customer base. Your main responsibility is to develop and nurture relationships with local professional contractors by understanding their unique needs as well as their business operations. You will collaborate closely with Behr’s outside sales representatives and Home Depot’s Pro Desk staff to provide excellent service that addresses contractors’ paint and related product needs efficiently. Your role includes assisting contractors by mixing the right paint formulations and providing any necessary sundry paint tools to ensure they can complete their projects successfully and return to their work promptly.

This full-time role offers an attractive pay range of $20.70 to $32.45 per hour, which varies depending on experience, education, location, and skill sets. The position demands a flexible schedule to align with peak sales periods, which may include weekends, holidays, and shifts that can extend until 7 p.m. The company supports and trains you thoroughly, valuing an outgoing, approachable personality, organizational skills, basic computer competency for managing customer information using Salesforce, and a positive attitude as essential traits for success.   • maintain relationships with contractors including following up on their job needs
  • collaborate with Behr’s outside sales reps and Home Depot staff to serve customers
  • mix and prepare paint orders according to customers’ specifications
  • pull and tint paint orders for quick customer pickup
  • perform occasional lifting of up to 75 pounds
  • enter new leads and contacts into Salesforce CRM system
