We are currently seeking a PRN Resident Services professional to join our outstanding community team. This role plays a critical part in enhancing the resident experience by serving as the primary point of contact for residents, families, guests, vendors, and staff, addressing their needs, requests, and concerns with attentive and personalized service. The Resident Services team member will display strong customer service skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and excellent communication abilities. Responsibilities include managing calls efficiently, coordinating essential services such as dry cleaning, grocery delivery, and transportation, and acting as a liaison between residents and other departments, such as culinary. The role also involves ensuring community security through monitoring sign-in logs and maintaining an orderly reception area. This position requires someone who is detail-oriented, empathetic, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within the team. The role offers a competitive wage range of $20.00 to $21.00 per hour, and a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays. Job Requirements

  • Experience as a concierge or in a customer service role preferred
  • One to two years of working with seniors preferred
  • Ability to use independent judgement and discretion
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Confidence and patience in all interactions
  • Efficient time management
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment
  • Proficient with computers, tablets, Word, internet, and email
  • Must have valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

Job Duties

  • Serve as a point of contact for resident needs, requests, and complaints
  • Provide positive and memorable service to residents and guests
  • Answer phone calls promptly and route appropriately
  • Take detailed messages and ensure timely delivery
  • Coordinate resident services including dry cleaning, grocery delivery, and transportation
  • Welcome new residents and families and provide concierge information
  • Direct inquiries to community resources
  • Manage community transportation schedules and confirmations
  • Act as liaison for culinary department meal reservations
  • Make reminder calls for dining and community events
  • Maintain community security through monitoring logbooks
  • Keep reception and lobby clean and organized
  • Receive and sort incoming mail and packages
  • Perform other duties as assigned
