PRN Housekeeper (TEMPORARY)

We are currently seeking temporary Housekeepers to join our team on the Mid Day shift, with the opportunity to increase working hours after 90 days based on performance, attendance, and business needs. As a Housekeeper I at UnityPoint Health, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment essential to hospital operations and patient safety. This role involves executing scheduled cleaning tasks, managing emergency spills, and adhering to rigorous infection control standards mandated by Medicare, Medicaid, and hospital protocols. The Housekeeper is responsible for using hospital-approved cleaning equipment and materials safely and efficiently, ensuring proper waste disposal, and supporting emergency operations when needed.

The position requires strict adherence to vaccination protocols and completion of necessary training programs to meet regulatory and health guidelines. Providing excellent customer service through courteous and professional interactions with patients, visitors, and staff is crucial to enhancing the overall patient experience and supporting the hospital's reputation.
