This dedication helps Buckner attract passionate professionals who are committed to the rewarding field of senior living and care.

At Buckner Retirement Services, the role of Concierge at The Stayton at Museum Way in Fort Worth, TX, is integral to delivering an outstanding resident experience. This PRN, or as-needed, position focuses on hospitality and resident support, ensuring that every interaction reflects Buckner's high quality, service, and hospitality standards. The Concierge acts as a key liaison between residents, families, guests, and staff, facilitating communication, coordinating hospitality activities, and addressing resident and guest needs with care and professionalism.

The Concierge's responsibilities are diverse and impactful. The Concierge maintains organized systems that enhance community communication, such as managing reference materials, emergency vendor information, and the resident census. They support new residents through personalized orientation, helping them acclimate to community life by introducing them to amenities, dining services, key staff, and general community functions.

Moreover, the Concierge builds relationships by participating in and sometimes leading resident social events, providing a social support network that fosters connection and comfort within the community. They act as an advocate for residents, assisting with maintenance requests and ensuring timely follow-ups with the maintenance team. By training associates in the art of positive hospitality services, the Concierge helps cultivate a welcoming, service-oriented culture throughout the community.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, with hospitality or customer service experience preferred. The role requires excellent communication skills for interacting effectively with residents, families, and colleagues, both in writing and face-to-face. Attention to confidentiality, basic computer proficiency, and flexibility to work some evenings and weekends are essential. A commitment to Christian principles aligns with Buckner's faith-based mission. Additionally, the ability to drive and maintain the necessary licenses and insurance is required as part of the role.

Buckner Retirement Services stands out as an esteemed employer and community, not only for its long history and faith-inspired mission but also for its focus on employee well-being and professional development.
