As part of this exceptional team, the Busser / Food Runner plays a pivotal role in elevating the dining experience for residents, their families, and visitors. This position is a PRN (as needed) role, specifically for weekday dinner shifts where the kitchen closes by 8:30 p.m., indicating a focused evening work schedule. The Busser / Food Runner supports various dining venues within the community, including the Bistro, Casual, Formal dinners, Luminations® memory care dining, and the Club Room, as well as special events and private functions. The role requires prompt, courteous, and effective service aimed at maintaining high standards and ensuring that dining experiences are enjoyable and seamless.

Working under the general guidance of the Executive Chef and Dining Room Supervisor, the Busser / Food Runner must adhere to all community standards and procedures. This involves attention to detail, responsiveness, and teamwork to fulfill culinary service tasks efficiently. The person in this role directly contributes to the warm and hospitable atmosphere that Grand Living is famous for, ensuring residents and guests feel valued and cared for during every dining occasion.
