Job Description
Pine Acres Rehabilitation and Care Center is a well-established healthcare facility dedicated to providing exceptional rehabilitation and long-term care services to its residents. Located in a community-focused environment, Pine Acres prides itself on fostering a supportive and compassionate atmosphere where patients, families, and staff collaborate to deliver quality health care. The center emphasizes patient dignity, privacy, and safety, ensuring that every interaction and service meets stringent healthcare standards. With a commitment to continuous improvement and employee development, Pine Acres offers a dynamic workplace that values professionalism and teamwork in a respectful setting.
The position of PRN Receptionist at Pine Acres Rehabilitation and Care Center plays a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of the facility's front desk and reception area. This role is designed for those seeking flexible, as-needed work hours, typically covering shifts from 3 pm to 7:30 pm. The receptionist acts as the first point of contact for visitors, residents, staff, and vendors, upholding a secure, welcoming environment while ensuring strict compliance with healthcare privacy laws such as HIPAA, and regulatory standards from CMS. The role requires a balance of administrative duties, professional communication, and operational vigilance, including monitoring facility access and managing visitor logs with precision. The Receptionist supports the nursing leadership team by helping control access to the facility, thereby contributing directly to the safety and security of residents and staff.
This part-time, PRN role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a healthcare setting and possess strong interpersonal skills and an ability to remain calm under pressure. It offers the chance to work in a supportive team environment where continuous learning and adherence to best practices are encouraged. New hires receive training to familiarize themselves with necessary protocols and will be valued members of the Pine Acres community. The role also offers the opportunity for additional hours as they become available, providing a flexible and fulfilling work-life balance for those interested in intermittent healthcare support roles.
