We are currently seeking an innovative and health-focused Private Villa & Yacht Chef to join our elite team on a part-time basis. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a dynamic chef to bring their culinary artistry to life across two distinct venues: our elegant Miami villa and an impressive 87-foot Azimut yacht. The role demands flexibility, creativity, and professionalism, as the chef will be responsible for crafting exquisite seasonal menus that highlight Mediterranean fusion, Middle Eastern, and globally inspired cuisines. These menus will emphasize organic, farm-to-table ingredients, ensuring that each dish is both nutritious and indulgent, geared towards the sophisticated palates of our family and guests.
Working three days per week—including one weekend day—the chef will spend two days preparing family dinners and occasional entertaining at the Miami villa, with one day dedicated to cooking aboard the yacht during day trips or guest charters. The dual-location nature of this position offers culinary professionals a rare chance to practice and perfect their skills in both a stationary kitchen and a moving galley, navigating the unique challenges and opportunities each setting provides.
In this role, the successful candidate will have the autonomy to develop customized multi-course menus with a strong emphasis on plant-forward, vegan, gluten-free, and health-conscious options. The chef will also be tasked with sourcing and preparing the highest quality local, organic, and sustainable ingredients, maintaining both villa and yacht kitchen provisioning and inventory, and ensuring restaurant-quality meal preparation with refined plating and presentation suitable for a four-star or higher dining experience. Job Requirements
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience
- minimum of 3 years experience in private or luxury hospitality cooking
- proficiency in Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine
- strong organizational skills
- flexibility to work 3 days per week including 1 weekend day
- ability to work in both villa and yacht environments
- knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
