The role available is for a Food Service Worker who will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality meals to the residents, guests, and staff members. This is an hourly position, with compensation ranging from $20.00 to $22.00 per hour, designed for individuals who are passionate about food service and committed to maintaining excellent standards of safety, sanitation, and customer satisfaction. The Food Service Worker will prepare meals following a daily planner and standardized recipes to ensure consistency and adherence to dietary guidelines. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in production cooking or preparing therapeutic diets preferred
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English
- Basic computer skills including entry level proficiency with Excel and Word
- Ability to make independent decisions as needed
- Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization
- Willingness to obtain food handling and sanitation licenses if not already held
Job Qualifications
- Experience in production cooking and or preparing therapeutic diets is preferred
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English
- Basic computer skills including entry level proficiency with Excel and Word

Job Duties
- Prepare all food using the daily planner and SLC standard recipes
- Work the food line during mealtimes
- Ensure that all food meets safety guidelines
- Ensure all kitchen areas meet sanitation guidelines
- Respond quickly to resident and guest needs and requests
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, and co-workers
