The Private Investigator role at DigiStream Investigations is a dynamic and exciting position that goes beyond conventional desk jobs. The investigator will be responsible for conducting covert operations that often involve travel, monitoring subjects' activities, vehicle and foot pursuits, and careful documentation of all evidence collected. An average workweek ranges from 40 to 55 hours, including overtime paid for commute and drive time in company vehicles. Investigators often work 10 to 11 hours per day with flexible hours starting as early as 5:00 am and can extend into the evenings, including weekends and holidays. Job Duties

  • monitoring, following, and videotaping subjects as they conduct their day-to-day activities
  • vehicle and foot pursuit of subjects while maintaining cover
  • crafting pre-surveillance strategies based on the setup location and case details
  • detailed report writing on the activities observed and submission of video evidence
  • regular communication with team leader on setup positions, activity and tactics
  • filming subjects at various locations including grocery stores and sports events
  • maintaining equipment and company vehicle for surveillance activities
