The position of Private Investigator at DigiStream Investigations offers a unique and exciting opportunity for individuals who are curious, adventurous, and self-driven. Unlike traditional desk jobs, this role involves active surveillance, covert operations, and fieldwork that requires a great deal of autonomy and tactical thinking. As a Surveillance Investigator, you will play a vital role in collecting evidence to support legal defenses against fraudulent claims. Your day-to-day work will include monitoring subjects, conducting vehicle and foot pursuits, and employing pre-surveillance strategies to capture critical video evidence. You will regularly communicate with team leaders to coordinate surveillance efforts and ensure successful outcomes.
This role is ideal for those seeking a challenging yet rewarding career. DigiStream offers a professional, hands-on training program developed over 20 years, designed to equip you with the investigative skills necessary for success in this field. The company supports your growth with a clear promotion track within the Surveillance Investigator role and offers a career pathway that can extend into prestigious federal agencies such as the FBI, ATF, US Border Patrol, or even legal and investigative journalism careers.
DigiStream values work-life balance by providing paid commute time, overtime pay, and paid travel for remote assignments, ensuring that your time and efforts are well-compensated. Starting pay is competitive at $20.00 per hour, with full-time staff earning between $60,000 and $65,000 annually, including these benefits. Additionally, the company provides all necessary equipment like video cameras, laptops, tripods, and fuel and maintenance cards. Benefits include health, dental, vision, and life insurance, along with a 401(k) plan with up to a 4% company match.
If you are over 21, possess confident driving skills, and are ready to work a demanding schedule including weekends and holidays, DigiStream Investigations offers a fulfilling career with exceptional opportunities for advancement and professional growth. This job puts you on the road with a company vehicle, making every day different and full of engagement as you contribute to critical investigations and help uphold justice.
