Job Description

DigiStream Investigations is a fast-growing national private investigation firm headquartered in Irvine, California, specializing in providing high-quality investigative services across the United States. With a dedicated team of professionals and over 20 years of expertise in the investigative field, DigiStream is known for its innovative surveillance techniques, commitment to client satisfaction, and a hands-on training program that develops the next generation of top-tier private investigators. The company focuses heavily on investigations related to potentially fraudulent Worker's Compensation claims and other closely related legal matters, providing pivotal evidence to help defend against these claims effectively. DigiStream Investigations operates in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where no two days are the same, offering employees excitement, autonomy, and a clear career growth path in the fields of investigation, security, and law enforcement.

The role of Surveillance Investigator at DigiStream Investigations is a unique opportunity for individuals who have an adventurous and curious spirit and who thrive in situations that require attention to detail, discretion, and proactive problem-solving. This position involves conducting covert surveillance operations, capturing video evidence, and closely monitoring subjects as they go about their daily activities to gather proof needed for client cases. This is not a typical desk job; it includes travel, independent work, and occasionally long hours including weekends and holidays. Successful Surveillance Investigators will have the chance to work with company-provided state-of-the-art equipment and vehicles, engage in a professional development program, and achieve advancement within the company via a structured promotion track. The position offers a competitive salary starting at $20.00 per hour with opportunities for overtime pay, paid travel time, and comprehensive employee benefits including health, dental, and life insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan with company matching.

This career is ideal for individuals seeking a long-term career in private investigation or for those aspiring to enter related fields such as federal agencies (FBI, ATF, US Border Patrol), law enforcement, legal support roles, corporate security, or investigative journalism. The hands-on training program and real-world experience will equip candidates with the necessary skills to excel and can pave the way for professional success in numerous investigative and security careers. DigiStream fosters a team environment with quarterly team-building events and a supportive culture that values teamwork and the individual contributions of its investigators. The company ensures its employees have the equipment and resources needed to succeed, providing all necessary surveillance gear, a company vehicle, fuel, maintenance, and generous travel reimbursements. This role is suited for self-motivated, detail-oriented individuals who are ready to take on a challenging and rewarding career with a respected investigation firm.
