Job Requirements
- Minimum of three years of event experience including planning, organizing, and executing events
- customer service background accepted
- willingness to learn and perform in stressful situations
- ability to multitask and coordinate multiple large events
- strong communication skills
- experience working with vendors
- ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of event planning and coordination experience
- experience with wedding receptions, corporate, charitable, and large-scale events preferred
- hospitality or beer industry background preferred
- strong customer service skills
- ability to multitask and manage multiple projects
- excellent communication and organizational skills
- experience with vendor coordination
- knowledge or experience in photography is a plus
- bartending experience is a plus
- demonstrated ability to handle stressful situations professionally
Job Duties
- Meet with potential clients looking for event space
- sell event services and customize offerings based on client needs
- fulfill contracts and secure deposits with clients
- keep organized, shared event calendar updated with all pertinent information
- oversee events from planning to completion ensuring smooth execution
- conduct end-of-event walk-throughs to verify order and no damage
- coordinate team members before, during, and after events
- collaborate with marketing for event promotion and social media content
- cultivate strong relationships within and outside the organization
- assist with bartending and bar shifts if interested
- manage multiple concurrent large events and vendor negotiations
- demonstrate strong communication and detail-oriented skills
