Job Description

The Civic Center Foundation is a prominent organization dedicated to supporting cultural, educational, and community events at the Civic Center Music Hall. This historic venue is a hub for a variety of private and public events including concerts, corporate gatherings, weddings, and theatrical performances, making it an essential part of the community’s cultural fabric. Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills with a positive attitude
  • Problem solving skills with a resolution-oriented mindset
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize while maintaining attention to detail
  • Ability to work well with limited supervision
  • Proficiency in basic computer navigation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Must be enthusiastic and possess excellent interpersonal skills
  • Must be excited to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in corporate events and weddings preferred
  • Social media marketing experience is a plus
  • Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills with a positive attitude
  • Problem solving skills with a resolution-oriented mindset
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize while maintaining attention to detail
  • Ability to work well with limited supervision
  • Proficiency in basic computer navigation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Must be enthusiastic and possess excellent interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Providing exceptional customer service to patrons at all times
  • Ensuring the best experience for guests during events
  • Working with other team members to resolve issues as they arise
  • Acting as facility management, presenting a friendly persona to the public while maintaining the policies and procedures of the Civic Center Foundation and its user groups
  • Working with outside vendors to ensure safe and timely load-in and load out for Private Events
  • Assisting with Public Civic Center events as necessary
  • Assisting in design meetings and create floorplans for Private Events
  • Maintaining an active Instagram story during events
