As an independent contractor working on a 1099 basis, you have complete control over your schedule, income, and the clients you accept. This unique arrangement allows nurses and therapists to choose assignments that best fit their lifestyle and expertise, whether on a short visit basis (up to 2 hours) or full shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours, provided on a per-diem or long-term basis.
