Job Description
Concierge Nursing Referral Services, a branch of TheKey, is a premier nursing referral agency dedicated to connecting highly skilled private duty nurses and therapists with VIP clients who desire personalized, high-quality in-home care. Established as a private pay service, Concierge Nursing Referral Services differentiates itself by focusing exclusively on private-pay clients rather than insurance-based care, ensuring a bespoke caregiving experience. The agency caters to experienced Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and various licensed therapists such as Physical Therapists (PT), Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA), and Occupational Therapists (OT), who provide one-on-one care tailored to meet individual client needs.
The company operates under a model that emphasizes flexibility and client-centric care, enabling clinicians to offer various forms of care ranging from short visits of up to 2 hours to extended shifts of 8 to 12 hours, on either a per diem or long-term basis. This business model empowers clinicians to work independently and select cases that align with their schedules and professional preferences, highlighting the agency’s commitment to autonomy and work-life balance.
The role offered is for a Licensed Registered Nurse working as an independent contractor on a 1099 basis. These nurses are tasked with delivering compassionate and skilled care in patient homes, a setting that provides a significant change from the often hectic atmosphere of clinical environments. Nurses are expected to provide comprehensive care including activities of daily living (ADLs), vital signs monitoring, wound care, and transportation assistance to appointments, ensuring patients' comfort and health needs are met with dignity and respect.
Private duty nursing through this agency commands competitive pay rates starting at $70 per hour, although actual rates are case dependent and distinctly negotiated before the commencement of each assignment. This offers financial incentives aligned with the high level of specialization and responsibility required from nurses in providing top-tier personal care to the clientele.
This position involves regular and detailed documentation in accordance with agency policies, effective communication with doctors, family members, and office staff, and coordination of client supplies including durable medical equipment and medications. The role also extends to educating clients and their families when required, ensuring that knowledge on care practices is effectively transferred for enhanced patient health outcomes.
Candidates for this role require licensure to practice nursing in Massachusetts, a minimum of two years of nursing experience is highly preferred, and certification in CPR/BLS is mandatory. Besides clinical competencies, candidates must be proficient with basic technology and computer skills, dependable, capable of working autonomously with minimal supervision, and legally eligible to work in the United States.
This role is offered on a contract basis categorized as PRN, catering to professionals who value independence and flexibility in their work arrangements. By joining Concierge Nursing Referral Services, nurses contribute significantly towards fulfilling the agency’s mission of delivering the highest quality in-home clinical care to discerning clients in a relaxed and personalized setting.
