Job Description
Concierge Nursing Referral Services, a branch of TheKey, is a distinguished nursing referral agency specializing in connecting highly skilled private duty nurses and therapists with clients seeking premium in-home healthcare. Our clientele consists of discerning VIP individuals who prioritize personalized, one-on-one care delivered in the comfort and privacy of their own homes. We represent a range of health professionals, including Registered Nurses (RN), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN), and therapists such as Physical Therapists (PT), Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA), and Occupational Therapists (OT). Our agency stands apart by emphasizing private pay care, thus bypassing insurance to offer more flexible, individualized care plans tailored to meet each client’s unique needs.
We offer flexible employment opportunities as independent contractors. This model empowers clinicians to take full control over their schedules, client selections, and income streams. Pay rates start at $35 per hour but vary depending on the complexity and demands of the individual cases; these rates are carefully negotiated prior to the commencement of each assignment to ensure fairness and transparency. As an independent contractor, nurses and therapists can enjoy the freedom to balance their professional and personal lives effectively, choosing shifts that work best for them, whether those are hourly blocks of 8 to 12 hours or shorter visits lasting up to 2 hours. Our cases range from per-diem engagements to long-term care, providing clinicians with a variety of work arrangements suited to different lifestyles and career goals.
Working with Concierge Nursing Referral Services means stepping away from the traditional, often hectic hospital or clinic environment and instead making a meaningful, tangible difference in our clients’ daily lives right in their homes. This model of care not only enhances patient satisfaction and comfort but also allows clinicians to develop deeper, more personalized professional relationships. We place strong importance on clinicians’ independence while providing robust support when needed. Our care team members are expected to handle essential nursing duties such as assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), vital sign monitoring, wound care management, and facilitating safe transportation to medical appointments. They are also responsible for executing skilled nursing tasks as prescribed by the client’s physician, all while maintaining up-to-date and comprehensive documentation according to agency protocols.
The role demands excellent communication skills, as nurses and therapists coordinate effectively with doctors, families, and agency staff to ensure consistent, high-quality care. Additionally, clinicians are supported in acquiring necessary client supplies, including durable medical equipment (DME), wound care materials, and medications. They also provide training and guidance to clients and families as required, ensuring continuity of care and improved health outcomes.
This role is designed for experienced, reliable, and self-motivated healthcare professionals who are looking for rewarding work that fits around their life, rather than the other way around. If you are a California Licensed Vocational Nurse with a minimum of two years nursing experience and a particular passion for private duty nursing, this opportunity offers an excellent platform to expand your practice, earn competitive compensation, and enjoy the professional freedom that comes with being a valued contractor. Join Concierge Nursing Referral Services to elevate your career and make a meaningful impact delivering the highest quality clinical care in the home environment.
