Job Description
Concierge Nursing Referral Services, a part of TheKey, stands as a premier nursing referral agency dedicated to connecting highly skilled private duty nurses, including Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), as well as therapists such as Physical Therapists (PT), Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA), and Occupational Therapists (OT), with VIP clients who require exceptional in-home care. As a respected private pay service, the organization prides itself on providing personalized, one-on-one care tailored to each client's unique needs. This results-oriented approach ensures that care is delivered in a comfortable, familiar environment—clients' homes—rather than traditional clinical settings. Concierge Nursing Referral Services offers a variety of care arrangements, ranging from hourly shifts that can last between 8 to 12 hours, to shorter visits of up to two hours, accommodating both short-term and long-term care plans. Since the service operates outside of insurance parameters, all payments are made privately, underscoring the clients' expectations for the highest quality clinical care from compassionate and experienced clinicians.
This role offers a unique opportunity for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to take control over their professional schedule and client interactions while earning competitive pay rates starting at $40 per hour. Each case’s pay is variable and negotiated in advance, empowering practitioners with financial flexibility. Serving as a 1099 independent contractor, nurses gain the autonomy to select assignments that match their expertise and availability. Working within this capacity provides an excellent alternative to the conventional hospital or clinic environment, offering a balance of professional satisfaction and personal flexibility. The primary responsibilities include delivering skilled nursing services as prescribed by the client’s physician, attending to activities of daily living (ADLs), monitoring vital signs, wound care, and facilitating transportation to appointments. Documentation and communication with healthcare providers, family members, and office coordinators are key aspects of the position, alongside managing client supplies such as durable medical equipment (DME), wound care materials, and medications. The nurse will also assist in client or family training to ensure continuity of care.
Candidates for this role must hold a valid LPN license in Virginia, have at least two years of nursing experience (preferred), and possess CPR/BLS certification. The position demands reliability, independence, technical competence, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. This is a contract, PRN opportunity ideal for nurses seeking a high level of professional independence while making a meaningful difference in the lives of VIP clients. With pay rates negotiated prior to engagement and weekly payment structures, the position offers both financial and scheduling flexibility. Join Concierge Nursing Referral Services and contribute to a mission that centers on delivering the highest quality in-home clinical care to clients who value personalized attention and professional excellence.
