Job Description

Concierge Nursing Referral Services, a branch of TheKey, is a premier nursing referral service specializing in connecting private duty nurses and therapists with discerning VIP clients seeking personalized in-home care. We serve as the essential link between highly skilled clinicians—including Registered Nurses (RN), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), Physical Therapists (PT), Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA), Occupational Therapists (OT), and others—and clients who require compassionate and individualized care in the comfort and privacy of their homes. Our exclusive private pay model ensures that we do not accept insurance, allowing us to focus on delivering the highest standard of care tailored to each client's unique needs.

This contracting opportunity offers professional nurses and therapists a unique chance to take control of their schedule, client selection, and income through high-end private duty care services. Starting pay rates are competitively set at $35 per hour, with rates varying on a case-by-case basis depending on client needs and negotiated before the commencement of each case. Employment is structured as a contract or PRN (pro re nata) basis, ideal for independent clinicians seeking flexibility and autonomy.

As a 1099 independent contractor with Concierge Nursing Referral Services, you command the freedom to design your own work life by selecting assignments that fit your preferences and lifestyle. This allows for an optimal balance between personal and professional commitments. The role centers on providing one-to-one, in-home care for clients with varied needs—from shorter visits lasting up to two hours to extended shifts of 8 to 12 hours, available on a per-diem or long-term basis.

The essence of this role lies in delivering exceptional, skilled nursing services prescribed by the client’s doctor, all while operating within your professional scope of practice. The job entails a variety of responsibilities, including assisting clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), monitoring vital signs, managing wound care, and facilitating transportation to and from medical appointments. Additionally, it involves effective communication with doctors, family members, and agency personnel to ensure cohesive, client-centered care planning and delivery.

Clinicians in this role also play a critical part in coordinating and procuring necessary client supplies such as durable medical equipment (DME), wound care products, and medications, ensuring uninterrupted care and client comfort. Educating clients and their families by providing training and guidance is another vital function, reinforcing health management skills and promoting independence.

Joining Concierge Nursing Referral Services means entering a professional environment that values independence, responsibility, and reliability. We seek clinicians who are dependable, technologically proficient to maintain proper documentation and communication through digital platforms, and who possess the ability to work with minimal supervision. By becoming part of our team, you contribute to our mission of delivering the highest quality clinical care directly within clients’ homes, transforming the patient care experience away from traditional clinical settings to a warm, personal environment.
