Job Description
St. Regis Hotels & Resorts is a luxury hotel brand epitomizing the perfect blend of timeless glamour and modern innovation, with over 50 properties in prime locations around the globe. Originating from the historic St. Regis Hotel in New York founded by John Jacob Astor IV in the early 20th century, the brand is renowned for providing unparalleled service featuring sophisticated classic elegance coupled with contemporary sensibilities. This prestigious hospitality brand prides itself on impeccable guest experiences orchestrated by a gracious and attentive team that includes exclusive butler services and a commitment to anticipating every need with excellence and warmth. The culture at St. Regis is enriched by the diversity, talents, and experiences of its associates, emphasizing teamwork, motivation, and career growth within the Marriott International portfolio.
The role we are offering is a full-time, non-management Food and Beverage position based at our Chicago location at 401 E Upper Wacker Drive. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about food and beverage service, hospitality, and delivering extraordinary guest experiences. The position offers an hourly wage of $18.98 and is tip eligible, reflecting the valued contribution of frontline team members. It requires availability for flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, to ensure seamless service around the clock.
As a member of the Food and Beverage team, you will be the face of St. Regis for our guests during their dining experiences. Your responsibilities will include warmly welcoming guests, efficiently attending to tables, serving food and beverages with care, and sharing your knowledge of the menu to help guests with special requests or inquiries. You will also be responsible for accurately processing transactions using the MICROS system, ensuring clean and well-prepared table settings, and completing closing duties alongside restocking supplies. This role demands a professional appearance with a clean uniform and the physical capability to lift up to 25 pounds, stand or walk for extended periods, and fulfill safety certifications and training prior to employment.
Working at St. Regis offers more than just a job; it is a pathway to personal and professional growth in the hospitality industry. You will have access to various learning and development programs, recognition initiatives, and wellness activities designed to support both your work life and personal well-being. The supportive and motivating management team, combined with the camaraderie among colleagues, creates an encouraging work environment. Our commitment to inclusion and equal opportunity ensures that every associate feels welcome and valued regardless of background or experience.
By joining St. Regis, you will have the unique chance to connect with individuals from around the world while cultivating your skills and expanding your career possibilities in a prestigious luxury hospitality setting. The experiences you provide to guests will leave lasting memories that reflect the excellence and sophistication St. Regis stands for.
