Job Description

Onsite Wellness Group is a renowned family of brands dedicated to creating an emotionally well world by reconnecting individuals to themselves, to each other, and to the environment around them. Their mission is to design and deliver transformational emotional wellness experiences that optimize life and infuse meaning and value into the human experience. Operating under the guidance of core values known as the ANCHOR values — authenticity, nurturing, courage, humility, openness, and resilience — the organization offers a broad range of services. These include wellness workshops, residential healing programs, entertainment, digital experiences, and educational initiatives that collectively serve a diverse international clientele. The company’s work has been featured in prominent media outlets such as 20/20, Good Morning America, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Marie Claire, People, and The Doctors, underscoring their impact in the emotional wellness space. One of the flagship programs within the Onsite family is Milestones, a residential healing program centered around therapeutic hospitality and comprehensive care.

The Private Chef role within the Milestones program is a deeply relational, client-facing position that bridges culinary excellence with therapeutic hospitality. This role involves planning, preparing, and serving nourishing and artfully crafted meals that support both the physical and emotional well-being of clients undergoing challenging therapeutic journeys. The Private Chef is more than a cook; they are an essential part of the client’s support system, providing warmth, presence, and consistency within a safe, therapeutic environment that balances professionalism with empathy.

In this role, food is recognized as an act of healing rather than mere sustenance. The Private Chef thoughtfully creates menus for lunch, dinner, and snacks that emphasize whole, minimally processed, fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced ingredients. These meals are crafted not only for nutritional balance but also to enhance emotional regulation and support recovery processes. The Private Chef collaborates closely with clinical, nursing, and program staff to ensure that meal planning aligns with therapeutic goals and medical guidance while honoring a wide spectrum of dietary needs, including medically prescribed diets, allergies, eating disorder sensitivities, and cultural or religious preferences.

The role also includes managing kitchen operations such as inventory management, procurement, and maintaining a spotless, health-compliant kitchen environment adhering to HACCP standards and ServSafe protocols. Attention to detail, creativity, and a commitment to excellence are key. The ideal candidate for this position brings five or more years of private chef experience, especially cooking for small, discerning groups in intimate settings. They demonstrate nutritional expertise, emotional intelligence, and the ability to foster trusting relationships while upholding professional boundaries within a therapeutic context. This position requires a passion for culinary arts married with a mission-driven mindset focused on contributing to a larger journey of healing and transformation. Onsite Wellness Group offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401K with company match, paid time off, and opportunities for participation in company workshops and employee assistance programs.
