This role is for a Principal System Administrator, also known internally as Principal Analyst within the infrastructure Workplace Services team, located onsite at Pelham, New Hampshire. The position supports critical and classified programs that require a high level of security clearance and technical expertise. As a Principal System Administrator, you will collaborate with a diverse group of professionals including engineers, software developers, and cybersecurity teams to maintain secure, efficient computing environments across multiple classified projects. Your responsibilities will focus on developing, implementing, and maintaining secure and cost-effective IT infrastructure solutions that meet program requirements and solve complex system challenges. The role demands proficiency in managing Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments, virtualization and containerization technologies like VMware and Kubernetes, and an understanding of stringent security and compliance frameworks such as DFARS, RMF, and NIST.

Candidates must be U.S. citizens eligible for Department of Defense (DoD) Secret clearance and capable of obtaining interim security clearances prior to their start date. The work schedule involves onsite support within a closed DoD facility area, requiring flexibility to respond to both planned and emergency tasks, sometimes beyond standard work hours, and travel obligations of up to 10%. This role offers a competitive salary range from $86,800 to $165,200 USD, reflecting the breadth of experience and skill levels required. Beneficial certifications, including DoD 8140/8570 credentials such as CompTIA Security+, must be obtained within six months of hire.
