Northrop Grumman is currently seeking Principal Cyber Systems Engineers to join their Classified Solutions team at the Melbourne, FL campus. This is a full-time, on-site position requiring a U.S. Government Secret clearance as well as the ability to obtain a Special Access Program (SAP) clearance. The role involves working on classified projects that support information systems and network design, operation, and security activities. Due to the sensitive nature of the work, telecommuting or remote work options are not available. Prospective candidates should be committed to working on-site full-time in Melbourne, Florida.

As a Principal Cyber Systems Engineer, the candidate will play a critical role in designing, deploying, configuring, and managing lab infrastructure. The position leads desktop virtualization and host system administration efforts while performing essential network and security functions needed to operate software development environments across various classification levels. The engineer will also design and implement software and automation tools that aid both customer development teams and maintenance operations. Responsibilities include providing expertise in configuring and conducting hardware-in-the-loop testing and simulations, supporting avionics systems integration into test environments, and developing precise aircraft simulations reflecting operational scenarios.

Additional duties include operating test stations such as the Mission System Integration Test Station (MSITS) and the Vehicle System Integrated Test Station (VSITS) to carry out comprehensive system testing. The role also requires implementing and managing cyber networking solutions to enable secure and efficient communication between various test systems. Documentation of test procedures, results, and best practices is essential to support ongoing compliance and assurance efforts. The candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to resolve integration issues and ensure successful system performance.
